As I have grown older, I’ve reflected on the reality that numerous children couldn’t experience the holiday joy of having presents under the tree due to limited means. It has been my passion to contribute and provide families with the opportunity to experience this joy.
Being part of DuCAP (Dupage County Area Project) for over 3 months now makes me especially proud, as the organization is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it the most. Alongside dedicated volunteers, including Elaine Manning, we wrapped 200 presents to be distributed at their holiday party. I am excited for the happines these gifts will bring to the kids of the Bensenville community.
DuCAP stands out for its unwavering focus on uplifting underrepresented communities. They collaborate with residents, parents, businesses, organizations, and community members who want to make a difference in the lives of their future generations!

My daughter has been coming to [DuCAP programs] since the 8th grade and I have participated in her relationship building. Community Programs like this one keep children and parents involved and invested in their education so that they have a bright future ahead.
DuCAP at Marian Park Community Center has positively impacted me and my family because I have learned new life skills and have improved my grades.
When my son started going to [DuCAP programs] his attitude has changed and he is more interested in school work and he is happier.
What I like about Builders Club is that I get to help people that don’t have anything and I take all the time I have to be a better citizen to everybody. Builders Club is helping me become a much better person.

DuCAP has developed community leaders in every community we have touched.
In addition, numerous youth involved with DuCAP have later worked for our agency as interns during college or as staff after college.
Several parents and former participants have started their own businesses or community programs with DuCAP’s guidance and encouragement.
