Expectations

Some of the responsibilities expected when joining a DuCAP Leadership Group:

  • For the group to be most effective in serving the community, all members must agree to:

    • Attend one (1) meeting per quarter (When this is not possible, contribute your thoughts on the agenda / minutes)
    • Provide input on pitches made for initiatives within the community
    • Regularly communicate with fellow members to keep initiatives moving
    • Express views, ideas, and concerns
  • Members also choose to provide support in a variety of other ways that fit their desires and schedules:

    • Volunteer by leading, supervising, planning, creating, and/or assisting with activities, projects, etc.
    • Assist in raising funds for initiatives by donating, recruiting donors & sponsors, securing grants, etc.
    • Spread the word by participating and presenting at outreach events & meetings, engaging with us on social media, and sharing emails, texts, and materials with friends, family, etc.
    • Collect information and feedback from community members
    • Find/share resources for teens & their families
  • Invite others to join!
